Criss-Cross, CrossJigsaw, Word Search, Snaking Search and Word Jumble
The game “CrossPuzzles” is a collection of puzzles featuring five types of crosswords. Each puzzle type offers several modes that vary in the size of the crossword grid (from 10x10 to 18x18). The number of puzzles in the game is unlimited. If a puzzle is too difficult, you can use hints or save the game and start a new one. You can return to the saved game at any time. The game can be played for free and without an internet connection. You may only need the internet to view word definitions.
The game includes:
Word Search Puzzles
The Word Search Puzzle (also known as Word Find Puzzle) is a game where you need to find all the hidden words within a grid of letters. The words are arranged in straight lines — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — and may intersect with one another. After completing the puzzle, some unused letters might remain in the grid, not forming any words.
Snaking Word Search Puzzles
The Snaking Word Search Puzzle is similar to a traditional Word Search Puzzle, where you need to look for the hidden words in a grid. However, in this version, words can follow a straight path or twist at right angles in any direction. Unlike the classic version, words do not cross, do not share cells with other words, and are not placed diagonally.
Crossword Jigsaw
The Crossword Jigsaw (also known as CrossJigsaw) is an original word puzzle consisting of a crossword divided into fragments. The goal of this unique game is to reconstruct the original crossword from the puzzle pieces.
Criss-Cross Puzzles
The Criss-Cross Puzzle (also known as Kriss-Kross Puzzle, Word Fit Puzzle, Fill-In Crosswords, or Blank Crosswords) is very similar to a classic crossword puzzle. However, unlike the traditional version, there are no word definitions provided. All the words are already given, and you need to correctly place them into the crossword grid.
Word Jumble Puzzles
The Word Jumble Puzzle is also very similar to a traditional crossword puzzle. However, unlike the classic version, it does not provide word definitions to guess. Instead, the words are given with their letters jumbled, and you need to unscramble them.
